Non-playing captains
Kim Davenport (USA)

FORMELY
of Modesto, California, Davenport recently moved to Georgia where he owns and operates a large pool room in partnership with Johnny Archer.

Davenport, 52, has plenty of Mosconi Cup experience - in three appearances he was on the winning side all three times and sports an eight wins from 14 match record.

Part of the Team USA backroom staff when they won at the MGM Grand in 2003, Davenport's job will be to pick the pairings, running orders, motivate his players and be the voice of calm in the USA practice room.

Johan Ruijsink (Europe)

Last year Europe employed the services of 41 year-old Johan Ruijsink to take charge of team affairs during the Mosconi Cup. The manager/coach of the Royal Dutch Pool Federation, Ruijsink can also list the likes of Niels Feijen, Alex Lely, Nick van den Berg, Ralf Souquet and Fabio Petroni among the players he has worked with.

The Dutchman comes to the Mosconi Cup with clear ideas about what he wants to achieve, following several years of American domination in the annual Ryder Cup of pool event. Last year, Ruijsink came as close as possible without winning and is confident he can reverse his team's fortunes this time.
