MATCHROOM Sport and Simonis already enjoy a long-standing relationship that dates back over a decade and the prestigious Belgian company is supplier to Matchroom Sports' entire roster of pool events.

Predator (high-performance cues and shafts)
PREDATOR is the Official Cue of all Matchroom Sport events in 2007 and has also been the official cue for the World Pool Championship for the last six years.
Since its creation in 1992 and thanks to the constant research effort put into the understanding of Pool Cue performance dynamics, Predator strives to stimulate the sport and help pool players improve their game by being at the cutting edge of pool cue performance.

The Flexi-Rest (rests and mechanical bridges)
THE Flexi-Rest is a modern and unique rest designed to solve all problem shots in cueing sports and the difference between the Flexi-Rest and other rests is that the Flexi-Rest is not static.
Its flex enables a player to bend the rest in-between, over and around any obstructing balls during the course of a game. Another unique feature is that The Flexi-Rest is bendable, but once in the required position, is also rigid enough to take the weight and power of a cue while executing a shot. The Flexi-Rest will be in use at all Matchroom Sport pool events throughout 2007.

World Pool Association (sanctioning)
THE WPA is the world governing body for pool and administers the game at many levels across the globe.
Membership of the WPA is made up of its continental members and individual national associations are in turn members of their continental associations.

Each year the WPA World Championships are produced for men, women and juniors and the WPA have entered into a long-term agreement with Matchroom Sport to produce the men's World Championship.
The WPA also sanction the Mosconi Cup, the World Cup of Pool and the World Pool Masters. In addition, the WPA is at the forefront of the movement to include cue sports in the Olympic Games.
